Festival Halle was built in 1909 and was Reedville's school for many years before closing in the 1960s. It was purchased by the Birkle family and donated to the Greater Reedville Association in 2009. Festival Halle has been the primary gathering venue for many Reedville Fishermen's Museum events. While many repairs were made to the property since its donation, the structures supporting the flooring have seriously deteriorated due to water accumulation under the building. This damage caused the closure of Festival Halle in 2022.
After significant work by the community committee, Festival Halle will soon be a newly renovated event rental space. It will be a modern and versatile venue that can host a variety of events such as weddings, receptions, corporate events, concerts, lectures, expos, auctions and private parties. Watch for the anticipated opening announcement in 2026.
Festival Halle can accommodate up to 300 guests depending on the setup. For example, a seated dinner at round tables of 8 or 10 can accommodate approximately 200 guests and up to 300 for a standing or mixed event.
We expect Festival Halle to reopen in 2026.
Our newly renovated event space will include state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, professional curtained stage, commercial kitchen, bridal changing room, and a spacious dance floor. Dining tables, chairs and rolling bars may also be provided depending on the event package selected.
